Dr. G.W. Childs

Dr. Childs is a dedicated dentist passionate about helping patients understand and achieve their best oral health. Raised in Munster, Indiana, Dr. Childs graduated from Munster High School before earning his undergraduate degree Summa Cum Laude from Saint Joseph’s College in 2014. He completed his dental education at the Indiana University School of Dentistry, graduating in 2020.

Dr. Childs values building strong relationships with his patients, taking the time to explain treatment plans, and ensuring they feel informed and comfortable throughout their dental journey. His clinical interests span all aspects of general dentistry and providing care to the highest standards.

In addition to his clinical expertise, Dr. Childs is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Indiana Dental Association, the Chicago Dental Society, and the Northwest Indiana Dental Society.  He makes sure to stay up to date with the latest advancements in dental care to provide the highest quality service.



Outside the office, Dr. Childs enjoys playing cornhole in local tournaments and cherishes spending time with his family, including his brother, sister, and three nephews.

Dr. John Gutterman

Dr. John Gutterman, a Monticello, Indiana native, attended Saint Joseph's College in Rensselaer, Indiana where he met Heather, a Region native, and a Lake Central Graduate. After graduation Summa Cum Laude, Dr. Gutterman attended Indiana University School of Dentistry and graduated in 2019.

Currently living in Lowell, Dr. Gutterman and heather have 2 children. He enjoys spending his time out of the office with his dog Annie, a Havanese; attending many martial arts and soccer events as well as traveling with his daughter's all-star cheerleading teams.

Dr. Gutterman enjoys all aspects of dentistry, with a focus on implant dentistry, dentures, and root canals. Dr. Gutterman is active with the Indiana National Guard as an Army Dentist and has achieved the rank of Captain.

Donna - Front Desk Coordinator

As the friendly face at the front desk since 2015, I take pride in welcoming our patients and ensuring they have a smooth and comfortable experience. With a passion for customer service and organization, I help keep the office running efficiently while making every patient feel valued. Outside of work, I am a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who loves spending time with her family. Spending time with them is at the heart of everything I do.

Kim - RDH 

Kim’s passion for dental health began while working as a Licensed Veterinary Technician, where she performed numerous dental cleanings on dogs and cats. After three years in the veterinary field, she was inspired to transition to human dentistry. She graduated with the highest honors from Prairie State College in 2006 and joined the practice in July 2010.

In addition to her dental expertise, Kim has advanced studies in myofunctional therapy. She is dedicated to providing high-quality, individualized care and takes pride in making patients feel comfortable—often by bringing laughter into their dental visits.



Kim resides in Dyer, IN, with her husband and their three wonderful children.

Leanne - LDH 

Leanne has been a hygienist with us since 2016 right after she graduated from IUN. She is married with two kids and a dog, she enjoys playing by the pool.

Amanda - Office Manager

Amanda joined the practice in 2010 and has had the privilege of growing alongside an incredible team and helping patients feel confident and cared for every step of the way. Amanda has a passion for helping people find the treatment that's right for them and making sure every visit is as smooth as possible. Amanda is happily married with two amazing kids. She loves spending time with family and going to concerts whenever she can!

Bobby - Dental Assistant

After finishing school in 2014, he joined the crew in April 2015. When not at work, you can find him on his computer or binge-watching a random TV show.
